Dr. Michael Lessner
I came here to Austin in 1984 to attend the University of Texas. After my studies in Zoology I attended the University of Texas Health Science Center Dental School in San Antonio (then rated #1 in the nation by U.S. News and World Report). Upon graduation I returned to Austin, like so many people do, to begin practicing general dentistry. In 1992, I was fortunate to find a beautiful dental practice situated in Hyde Park, just north of campus. This charming old house has been a dental office since the mid-forties. It is a wonderful environment in which to work — very homey and relaxed. Over the past 25 years, we have built a wonderful family practice that focuses on delivering the best in state-of-the-art dentistry in a relaxed, comfortable, small-town atmosphere. I enjoy providing all facets of dentistry to my patients, with a particular emphasis on aesthetic dentistry. Allowing our patients to be fully informed and knowledgeable about the treatment they need is of utmost importance to our office. We utilize state of the art instruments and equipment.
Dr. Lessner and his beautiful wife Linda have been married for over 20 years and are the proud parents of four wonderful children, two boys, and two girls. Dr. Lessner and his family have lived locally in Central Austin for over 20 years and greatly appreciates what this unique community has to offer. When he is not practicing dentistry or spending time with the family and their numerous activities he is enjoying the splendor and beauty of Lake Tahoe. His hobbies include snowboarding and rock climbing.
